There are Seven Wizard Realms in the world today. (There have been others in the past but these no longer exist. For more details, please get a copy of the upcoming book Wizards and Magic - A Comprehensive History. It will be available on the books section of this site.)
The Wizard Realms found in the world today are the Astrals of Australia, the Salien of North America, the Sabedora of South and Central America, the Galdorgalere ("Harry Potter Wizards") of Europe, the Kibojara of Africa, the Pardaloga of the subcontinent and the Middle East (and parts of Asia and Europe), and Nanwu of Asia and the Pacific Islands. There are not any Wizards on the Antarctic continent (though there once was a small tribe of wizards there).
You can find background on each of these Realms by clicking on the links in the menu bar above. If you want to choose your own wizard identity, instead of taking our WAT, make sure you look through the details on each of the Realms. Many of the Realms encompass numerous species with different powers and abilities. Some of the Realms have Houses and each house has specific powers. Of course, the WAT can help you by testing your wizard abilities and then place you in the most likely category.
The Salien and the Pardaloga both have numerous species within their realms. The Salien also have four ancient Houses. Every Salien is part of a species and a House. The Kibojara and the Nanwu are made up of numerous tribes. The Galdorgalere are largely divided along their (human counterpart) country lines however they are beginning to cooperate more. The Astrals consist of one tribe though they also have merged with several smaller, native Wizard tribes in their homeland. The Sabedora started in the Amazon River basin and spread to encompass the whole of South and Central America. Each Realm has a rich history with powers and customs all their own.
