The Kibojara is the Wizard Realm of Africa. The Kibojara have long lived among the people of Africa often out in the open. (The Kibojara were often revered as wise men and women among the humans of Africa.) However, this practice stopped about five hundred years ago. Many Kibojara have moved to wizard communities while others remain within the human communities (they no longer admit to being wizards).
The Kibojara are divided among eight different tribes - the Berg, Bos, Bahari, Mto, Kiwanja, Moto, Jua, and Hemel. All of the tribes use wands and have wand powers. The Bergs and the Hemels are Lehvimas - they can fly (without brooms or any other mechanical assistance). The Bos and the Kiwanja have the ability to communicate with animals (Falmnyama). The Moto and the Jua are Ennustamas (excellent at divination).The Bahari and the Mto are Valutus or shapeshifters. Like most shapeshifters, the Bahari and the Mto are limited to shifting into animal shapes.
The Tribes were originally separated along tribal lines. The great leader, ___, of the Hemels (using his lehvima powers) brought the tribes together in 2347 BCE. It wasn't until 1298 BCE, when a small group of Galdorgalere arrived in the lands of the Jua in northern Africa, that the Kibojara learned the art of Parkour. In 1289 BCE, the first Vergadering (Tribal Meeting) took place. Ten years leter, the Kibojara Realm was founded.
