The Galdorgalere are the Wizards of Europe recently made famous as "Harry Potter" Wizards. (Please note: While these books were highly entertaining, they are not completely accurate. We Wizards would not allow an expose on our true lives, many of our secrets remain safe.) The modern Realm of the Galdorgalere is largely divided along human country lines though some enclaves remain loyal to older human country lines and count themselves among those people. Each of the countries have considerable autonomy to run their own affairs (but they are required to abide by AURW and Galdorgalere laws).
Of all of the Wizard Realms, the Galdorgalere have had the most controversial (and bloodiest) history. For thousands of years, various factions fought each other before finally establishing a lasting peace in 565 BCE. Even after the signing of this peace treaty, numerous battles were fought against uprisings by other magical species. (The Galdorgalere as a whole have had a difficult time establishing fair policies and a lasting peace with the magical species within their Realm.) The Galdorgalere have also survived many insurgencies by Dark Wizards. (The latest of which, of course, was the subject of the fictional Harry Potter books.)
The Galdorgalere have wand powers. The Galdorgalere have one of the widest ranges of powers. These powers are rarely attached to specific species, tribes, or countries. Rather, they seem to be randomly spread among the population as a whole. Other Galdorgalere powers are Parkour (called apparition by the Galdorgalere), Ennustamas (divination), Lehvima (flying), Valutus (shapeshifting), and Falmnyama (communincation with animals).
