Wizard Powers

All Wizards have powers but the powers differ from Realm to Realm, species to species, tribe to tribe, house to house, and even to some extent from Wizard to Wizard.

It is these powers that non-Wizards find so attractive. After all, who wouldn't want to be able to make objects fly, or zap an annoying bully with a stunning spell, or confound a teacher to give you a good grade (or a boss to give you a raise and the day off). This is why Wizards are careful to hide their powers from their human counterparts. And of course, Wizards themselves are highly restricted in how and when they can use magic. (Their teachers would have permanent anti-confounding spells on their classrooms for instance.) Wizards are very aware of the heavy responsibility their powers give them. They are taught from the youngest of ages how to control their powers and when it is appropriate to use them. In modern times, the governing bodies of each Realm have laws regulating the use of the wizard's powers and they have complex ways of monitoring their use.

So really, it is so much better here, at the League of Wizards. Here, you can learn and gain powers and use them in our online world. New spells and powers will become available all of the time, so check back here. But be forewarned, to master a power takes time and work, you will have to be willing to do both in order to use your online powers.
