WIZARD POWERS

There ten known wizard powers. (Note: We do not cover powers of Dark Wizards. These are aberrations and illegal within the Seven Wizard Realms.) Not all Powers exist in all Realms. Many Powers are limited by Tribe or House within the Realms.

The universal Wizard Power is Wand Powers. All but the Elegia of the Salien have Wand Powers. (This would generally be the ability to cast spells and charms using a wand.)

The second most common Wizard Power is Parkour or the ability to magically move from one place to another (called apparition by the Galdorgalere). The ability to Parkour seems to have originated with the Sabrils of the Nanwu. It then spread throughout the Wizard Realms. (The Salien use time travel instead of Parkour. Others use Levima in place of Parkour.)

The third most common power is Valutus or the ability to change shape. This Power is often limited within the Realms to specific Tribes or Houses. Most wizards can valutus into animal forms. A rarer ability is to valutus into Tattvaids (elemental spirits).

Ennustamas (divination) is another common Wizard Power spread throughout the Seven Realms.

Falmnyama is the ability to communicate with animals. It, too, is relatively widespread.

A rarer, though still widespread, Power is Levima or the ability to fly (without mechanical means like a broomstick).  Lehvima is often a Power specific to Tribe or House.

Maru is the last of the widespread Wizard Powers. Maru is the ability to communicate without using words and over long distances. (It would be called telecommunication by humans.)

A very rare Power is Adrsya (invisibility), This power is very only found in a small percentage of Nanwu and in some Salien.

The remaining two powers are specific to the Saline. Eisee is immortality. The only immortal among the Wizards are the Libertusa and the Elegia of the Salien. Zamana is the ability to travel through time. Only the Valenkina of the Salien can travel through time (without mechanical means).  Valenkina not only can travel through time, they actually control and protect time. All other time travel is created and controlled by the Valenkina (including Time Turners and Portals).
